In this special Chautauqua, Asad L. Asad, Stanford sociologist and author of Engage and Evade: How Latino Immigrant Families Manage Surveillance in Everyday Life (Princeton 2023), will converse with Javier Zamora, poet and New York Times bestselling author of Solito: A Memoir (Hogarth 2022), to reflect on the diverse and complex lived experiences of Latinx migrants to the United States.
