Graphic Novel

The Stanford Graphic Novel Project gives students the unique opportunity to produce a published, full-length graphic novel in a few months. Students gain first-hand experience collaborating as researchers, writers, illustrators, and editors to bring a nonfiction story to life.

Levinthal Tutorials

The Levinthal Tutorial is a program where students are paired with Stegner Fellows to work one-on-one, generating and revising work in fiction, nonfiction, or poetry. Levinthal students engage in weekly meetings with Stegners, participate in cohort-wide programming, and pursue their writing projects with mentorship and community.

Prizes

The Creative Writing Undergraduate Prizes are open to all Stanford undergraduates. Judged by a panel appointed by the program, these prizers honor creative works of high literary merit--poetry, fiction, and nonfiction alike.

Prize winners are invited to participate in the annual Undergraduate Prize Reading, where the winners share their polished work with our community.

Publications

Occasionally, Creative Writing publishes anthologies that feature a body of work from the undergraduate student community, specifically an annual Senior Anthology and Undergraduate Prizes Anthology.
