Peer Advisors

Crystal is a senior majoring in Data Science and Social Systems (Education) and English (Creative Writing - Prose) from Canada. She's passionate about interdisciplinary techniques in storytelling, and in applications to problems in education and digital humanities. On campus, she's also an RA, produces shows for Asian American Theatre Project, and knits socks. Ameera is a senior studying English (Creative Writing Poetry) and Global Studies with a specialization in Islamic Studies from Portland, Oregon. She’s passionate about the power of storytelling to resist injustice and revive cultural and religious narratives that have been forgotten or misconstrued. On campus, she’s also a member of the Stanford Spoken Word Collective. When her ink halts its flow, you can find her appreciating sunrises and sunsets on long runs, practicing her Arabic calligraphy, and visiting a new cafe.
