Chase Klavon

Chase is a senior majoring in English with a minor in Psychology, while her English major emphasis is in Creative Writing (poetry track.) She is interested in abnormal psychology and breaking the stigma against mental illness. On campus, she is a manager for the women's basketball team and an RA at Branner Hall. Outside of writing, she enjoys reading, playing basketball, indulging in Scrabble, watching Jeopardy, making cards, and going on walks. Please don’t hesitate to reach out about creative writing or anything else!

Víctor is a current junior majoring in Psychology with a minor in Creative Writing, with interests in easing the lack of mental health resources that disproportionately affect low-income and POC communities, as well as the intersections at play with mental illness, literature, and society. A fronterizo from the San Diego/Tijuana region, he brings his community to Stanford and his writing. Victor can often be found loitering at CoHo, sipping a Havana latte, indulging in recently thrifted clothing, and reading the latest queer novel. Most notably, he is enthusiastic about supporting student stories in writing and beyond and is eager to celebrate new and established voices in the Creative Writing program (that’s you!)
