The National Book Foundation announced the Longlist for the 2022 National Book Award for Fiction. Of the ten contenders, two Stegner Fellows were selected: Jonathan Escoffery, a current 2nd year fellow, and Jamil Jan Kochai, who recently completed his fellowship in the summer.

Stories on Stage Davis will feature two excerpts from novels by a Creative Writing lecturer and incoming Stegner Fellow.
