Evgeniya Dame grew up in Samara, Russia. She holds an MFA in Writing from the University of New Hampshire, which she attended on a Fulbright Scholarship. Her writing also received support from the Maine Writers and Publishers Alliance and the Monson Arts Residency. Her fiction appears or is forthcoming in Ploughshares, The Southern Review, and Joyland, and has been nominated for the Pushcart Prize. Her non-fiction and interviews have appeared in Electric Literature and New England Review online.
