A former Stegner Fellow and Jones Lecturer at Stanford, Thomas McNeely has also received fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts.  His fiction and non-fiction have appeared in The Atlantic, Ploughshares, The Virginia Quarterly Review, and Ninth Letter.  Ghost Horse, his first novel, is the winner of the 2013 Gival Press Novel Award.  Please visit his website for stories, interviews, and advance praise of Ghost Horsethomasmcneelywriter.com.   Raised in the Bluegrass region of Kentucky, Angela Pneuman was a Stegner Fellow at Stanford, a Presidential Fellow at SUNY Albany, and the recipient of the inaugural Alice Hoffman Prize from Ploughshares. Her collection Home Remedies was hailed as “call[ing] to mind Alice Munro” by the San Francisco Chronicle. Lay It on My Heart is her first novel.
