Stein Visiting Writers
The Stein Visiting Writers has been a long valued tradition in the world of Stanford's Creative Writing Program. Through the love of Isaac and Madeline Stein, this program allows for extraordinary and talented contemporary writers to visit Stanford to teach a seminar of their focus and to hold a public reading and colloquium.
Established in 2001, this program expands upon the wonderful minds on campus by allowing students and the community to take classes and learn from esteemed writers of our time that come from all over the country.
