William Brewer was born and raised in West Virginia. He’s the author of Oxyana, winner of the 2017 Poetry Society of America’s 30 and Under Chapbook Fellowship. His poems have appeared or are forthcoming in Boston Review, Kenyon Review Online, The Nation, A Public Space, and other journals. He’s the recipient of a Tennessee Williams Scholarship from the Sewanee Writers’ Conference, as well as fellowships from Poets & Writers, the Vermont Studio Center, and Columbia University, where he earned his MFA. William Brewer pic

Mark Hitz grew up in Idaho and earned an MFA from the Michener Center for Writers at the University of Texas. His work has appeared in Glimmer Train, The Night Owl, and is forthcoming in The Best American Nonrequired Reading 2016. As a Stegner Fellow he plans to finish his first novel. Mark Hitz pic
