Co-sponsored by the Creative Writing Program and the Stanford Humanities Center, we're pleased to announce a reading with Nevarez Encinias, Stegner Fellow in Fiction.

Nevarez Encinias is a Soloist dancer in Yjastros: the American Flamenco Repertory Company, as well as a writer, researcher, dramaturg, and dance-maker, based in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He received an MFA in Dance from the University of New Mexico in 2018. In 2022, he was a Periplus Collective Fellow. His written work has appeared in Choreographic Practices.


Dāshaun Washington, Stegner Fellow in Poetry, is unable to participate in this event. His reading will be re-scheduled for the 2024-25 academic year.
