Ari Banias holds a BA from Sarah Lawrence College and an MFA from Hunter College, where he was a teaching fellow. The author of a chapbook, What’s Personal is Being Here With All of You (Portable Press @ Yo-Yo Labs), his poems have appeared or are forthcoming in American Poetry Review, FIELD, Guernica, Gulf Coast, Poetry Northwest, The Volta, and elsewhere. He is the recipient of fellowships from the New York Foundation for the Arts, the Wisconsin Institute for Creative Writing, and the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown. His first collection of poems is forthcoming from W.W. Norton in 2016.

Mark Labowskie grew up in Philadelphia and received his MFA at Rutgers-Newark. His fiction has appeared in Sou’wester and is forthcoming in Fence. He plans to work on a novel and a collection of stories while at Stanford.
