Poet's House: Open Write

Join Jones Lecturer Keith Ekiss at POET'S HOUSE this Autumn, a writing studio for all poets--beginning, experienced, or anywhere in between. We’ll write from prompts, meet fellow poets, and talk poetry.

For our second Poet's House of the quarter, we'll feature an open write. Not sure what to write about? Pull from a grab bag of poetic prompts and trust what John Keats called "the magic hand of chance." Or, create your own poetic space and use the hour to work on a poem or project of your own choosing. We'll talk about the movement of poems and what we expect from the language of poetry. Stop by and leave with the start of 2-3 new poems.
