Brian Tierney's Rise and Float is the winner of the 2021 Jake Adam York Prize (Milkweed Editions, 2022). His poetry and prose have appeared in The Paris Review, Kenyon Review, Agni, and The New England Review. He is a former Wallace Stegner Fellow at Stanford.
